10” Eee PC A Myth
Bigger isn't always better, and nowhere is that more evident than in the growing UMPC market.
Still, there are some users who seemed to want a 10” screen on the ASUS Eee PC, and thus a rumor was born. Well it appears that it's rumor squashing time, according to this Q & A, a 10” Eee PC isn't in the cards at this time:
“I contacted ASUS to find out if the rumors were valid and this was the response:
We will have 8G with the same form factor and 7” screen size as the Eee PC 4G now. There are no plans for 10” at the moment. Eee PC 8G expected MSRP is $499.99 USD.”
Despite not getting a nearly 50% increase in screen size, we're still very impressed by the Eee PC.
