16 HTC Phones Getting Android 4.0 ICS

Samsung isn’t the only company rolling out Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich updates to its phones. HTC announced that 16 of its handsets with get the ICS treatment, although details on exactly when that will happen are spare.

We do know that HTC is in the “early stages” of pushing the update to HTC Sensation and Sensation SE devices, with Sensation 4G and Sensation XL to follow shortly thereafter. Considering that it will apparently take weeks for all Sensation and Sensation SE devices to get the update, it might be quite a while before owners of other handsets see ICS.

The full list of HTC phones destined for Android 4.0 is as follows: DROID Incredible 2, Amaze 4G, Desire, Desire HD, EVO 3D, EVO Design 4G, Incredible S, Sensation, Sensation XL, Sensation 4G, Sensation XE, Raider, Rezound, Rhyme, Thunderbolt, and Vivid.
