55-Inch TCL 4K HDR TV With Roku A Heck Of A Deal At Best Buy For $399
Best Buy is currently running a Labor Day promotion on the TCL 55-inch 5-Series 4K HDR TV (55S515). Like other TCL 5-Series TV's, the 55-inch model features Dolby Vision HDR along with HDR Dynamic Contrast technology thanks to its iPQ Engine. Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Atmos audio technologies are supported, and you'll find three HDMI 2.0a ports with HDCP 2.2 (one supports ARC) along with dual 8W speakers. On the connectivity front, there's a single Ethernet port and dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi.
The built-in Roku functionality means that you can access scores of smart TV apps including Netflix, Amazon Video, Hulu, Sling TV, YouTube and others using the familiar Roku interface (which also extends to controlling the various inputs and TV settings). You'll receive a Roku remote, although it doesn't have the nifty built-in headphone jack that is available on some high-end standalone Roku hardware streamers. In a pinch, you can use Roku's smartphones app to control the TV if your remote isn't within arm's reach.
The Roku 55-inch 5-Series 4K HDR TV was previously priced at $449.99, but today is on sale for $399.99 with free shipping.
