Acer Announces GN245HQ 3D Monitor with Built-In 3D Vision IR Emitter
Don't worry if you're not equipped for HDMI connectivity, it also blasts three-dimensional images through a dual-link DVI connector. In addition, the GN245HQ boasts a built-in 3D Vision IR emitter so you don't have to use up a USB port, and Acer includes a pair of active shutter glasses to get you going.
Other features include a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio (dynamic, no doubt), a rated 2ms response time, and up to 68 percent less power consumption courtesy of a two-lamp design (as opposed to four lamps).
Look for this one to ship in mid-March in the UK for £419.99 (~USD$677). No word yet on when Acer will bring this one stateside or for how much.
