Acer Nitro 5 15-inch 1080p GTX 1050 Ti Gaming Laptop Is A Fantastic Deal At Just $599

Acer Nitro 5
It's not too often that we see epic deals on gaming notebooks, but Best Buy is currently running a promotion on the Acer Nitro 5 that made us do a double take. The laptop comes with some pretty stout specs and will only set you to back $599 (plus tax, of course).

That price will get you a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920x1080) IPS display with Acer ComfyView technology to reduce screen glare. The display is backed up by an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti GPU with 4GB of GDDR5 memory onboard.

Powering the system is an Intel 7th generation (Kaby Lake) Core i5-7300HQ quad-core processor with a base clock of 2.5GHz and the ability to boost up to 3.5GHz. It isn't HyperThreading-enabled, but we're not complaining for this price. Other important hardware includes 8GB of DDR4-2400 memory (upgradeable to 32GB) and a 256GB SSD.

On the connectivity front, the Nitro doesn't disappoint with 802.11ac, one USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports, one USB-C 3.1 port, HDMI 2.0-out, and GbE. The 6-pound notebook comes with a 4-cell lithium-ion battery that is good for up to 8.5 hours of runtime (probably far less if you're hellbent on capping people in Fortnite).

Other features that we should probably mention are Dolby Audio Premium and Acer TrueHarmony sound technology, red keyboard backlighting, and Acer Coolboost tech (via two system fans).

The Acer Nitro 5 typically retails for $799, so the price cut to $599 with free shipping is a rockin' price for a solid gaming machine.
