We're suckers for large-format, high resolution displays here at HotHardware, and Acer is now making available a new entry that is sure to be a delight for your eyes. Acer today announced that its Predator CG437K P is now available for purchase in the United States.

The Predator CG437K P is a large format gaming display (LFGD) that measures 43 inches across and features a 4K (3840z2160) resolution. If that wasn't enough, Acer has managed to throw in DisplayHDR 1000 certification and a VA panel with a native refresh rate of 120Hz. However, that refresh rate can be boosted to a loftier 144Hz with overclocking enabled.

Acer also boats that the Predator CG437K P sports a 1ms response time, and supports both Adaptive Sync (FreeSync) and NVIDIA G-SYNC to help eliminate stuttering and visual tearing in games. FreeSync is supported over an HDMI cable for use with Xbox One consoles.

Other features include 90 percent coverage for the DCI-P3 color space, low Delta E<1 color accuracy, and dual 10-watt speakers (although you'll still probably want to hook up your own sound system). There are also three HDMI ports, two DisplayPort 1.4 convectors, two USB 3.0 ports, and two 2.0 ports. USB-C is even included into the mix.

The Predator CG437K P carries on the angular good looks that we expect from the Predator family, of course include four detachable (magnetic) LED light strips that can be pre-programmed with up to 9 different operating modes. There's also a large metal stand to support the LFGD.

You can purchase the Predator CG437K P starting today with a price tag of $1,499.
