Acer Reveals Aspire 5755 Notebook With Clear.Fi And WiDi

Another new week, another new Acer. The company seems capable of pumping out new notebooks at an alarming rate, but for those who love options, there's little to complain about. The newest is the Aspire 5755, which utilizes Intel's Core family of CPUs and ships with a glossy cover in brown, red, blue or black. Underneath, there's a FineTip chiclet keyboard, a numpad, multi-gesture touchpad, a 720p display, HDMI output, and Intel's Wireless Display (WiDi) technology for streaming content to your HDTV without a cable.

Optionally, you can add a Blu-ray Disc drive, 8GB of DDR3 memory, 1TB of storage space, a multi-in-1 card reader, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet and a headphone combo jack. Acer's also throwing in their clear.fi media sharing technology, with an asking price of £899. No word on whether it'll ship to other regions, but we suspect it will in time.
