Acer Ships 23" Z3-605 All-In-One Desktop PC

The all-in-one desktop market certainly isn't as flush with new machines as it once was, and the desktop market as a whole has been slipping as notebooks and tablets begin to serve as the only computer one needs. That said, Acer has popped out a new one for consideration, the Z3-605. It's a fairly stylish rig, offering up a 23" Full HD display, a 10-point touch panel, optional hand recognition software, and a frame that tilts from 10 to 30 degrees plus an adjustable HD webcam.

The unique capsule-shaped port bay on the front of the chassis groups together the on-screen display (OSD) button, SD card reader, USB 3.0 and 2-in-1 combo audio jack, for easy reach. To enhance the clean design, the stand has hooks to keep cables neat and the desk tidy, while Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11a/b/g/n eliminate messy wires. Windows 8 is onboard, as well as a Core i5 CPU, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory and a 1TB hard drive. There's also an HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports and an integrated DVD burner.

The Acer Aspire Z3-605 Series all-in-one desktops will be available for $700 (without touch) and $800 (with touch).
