Adobe Won't Makes Vista Patches

Informationweek has an article about Adobe deciding that they're not going to lift a finger to alter existing products to make them more compatible with Windows Vista. Some might be quick to point out that Adobe and MS have had issues over Vista & Office 2007 features, but do keep in mind that Adobe had a similar policy when they announced that they weren't going to make an OS X Universal Binary version of CS2.

"Users of Adobe Systems' digital publishing products, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Dreamweaver, will have to shell out for new versions of the software if they want to run them without glitches on Microsoft's new Windows Vista operating system, Adobe says. According to a statement posted on Adobe's Web site, the company "does not plan to issue updates to current versions of those products for Windows Vista compatibility."
