Dell announced some pretty impressive gaming PCs this morning, and is rounding out its lineup with two new 34-inch Alienware gaming monitors. There are some clear similarities between the AW3418DW and AW3418DW including quad-zone AlienFX lighting, super-thin bezels and NVIDIA G-SYNC technology to smooth out gameplay and reduce screen tearing.

From there, the two monitors differ in key resolution and performance metrics. The AW3418DW sports a resolution of 3440x1440 and features an [overclocked] refresh rate of 120Hz. You’ll also find a 4ms response time, 21:9 screen ratio and 1900R curvature of the display.

There’s also the AW3418HW, which drops the resolution down to 2560x1080, while retaining a 4ms response time. However, the AW3418HW does support an overlocked refresh rate of up to 160Hz, which is a plus. The display features the same 21:9 ratio, but features a 3800R curvature. Dell mentions that the nearly non-existent bezels make both perfect for immersive, multi-monitor setups.
