Amazon Celebrates Four Years Of Appstore By Giving Away $105 Worth Of Apps
Typically when celebrating a birthday, you bring gifts to the one that just turned another year older. Not so with Amazon -- the online retailer's Appstore for Android turned four years old this week, and to celebrate the occasion, Amazon is temporarily giving away 34 apps and games worth a combined $105. These aren't junk titles, either.
There are some real gems that are up for grabs, such as World of Goo, typically a $5 app and worth every penny, and Kingdom Rush Origins, a highly addictive tower defense game that normally goes for a buck.
