Amazon Discounts Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Throws In Great Freebies To Sweeten The Deal

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 hasn't been on the market for very long, but Amazon is already discounting the flagship smartphone for those that want an unlocked device and don't want to deal with carrier financing or contracts. The 128GB Galaxy Note 9 has a regular MSRP of $999, but Amazon is currently selling the device for $929 (in either Ocean Blue or Lavender Purple).

$70 off a device that costs $1,000 might not seem like much (it barely covers tax for many people), but any discount is much appreciated given how expensive flagship smartphones from companies like Apple, LG and Samsung are getting these days. But it doesn't stop with the discount on the Galaxy Note 9 -- Amazon is also throwing in two freebies to sweeten the deal.

For starters, you'll get a set of Samsung Gear IconX Bluetooth earbuds. The Gear IconX provides up to 5 hours of Bluetooth streaming and can respond to either Bixby or Google Assistant voice commands. Amazon typically sells these earbuds for $133.81. The second free item that Amazon is throwing in is one of Samsung's Qi-certified wireless stand chargers. This device normally sells for around $44.

Amazon's Galaxy Note 9 offer only lasts until 3AM EST on Wednesday morning, so you don't have long to decide if you want to get in on the unlocked flagship bandwagon.

We recently reviewed the Galaxy Note 9 and found it to be a spectacular smartphone, particularly for those that are enamored with large-display devices. The Galaxy Note 9 features a 6.4-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED (2960x1440) and is powered by Qualcomm's potent Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 6GB of RAM (for the 128GB configuration). Other niceties include the requisite S Pen (stylus), IP68 water/dust resistance, dual 12MP rear cameras, and a massive 4,000 mAh battery.
