Amazon Digital Day Returns December 29 With Savings Up To 80%

For regular Amazon shoppers -- and who isn't these days -- you'll be happy to know that the online retail giant is bringing back its Digital Day. If you're already familiar with Amazon Prime Day, then think of Digital Day as the "digital" equivalent of that sales spectacular. According to Amazon, this year's Digital Day will take place on December 29th.

The deals will be spread across multiple categories including movies, TV shows, eBooks and mobile games. The inaugural Digital Day kicked off last year, with customers ordering hundreds of thousands of items according to Amazon. Given that events like Prime Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday seem to break sales records year after year, we have no reason to doubt that Amazon will once again see another record-setting sales event.

There are plenty of deals to be found this year, with some starting as early as December 26th for those that simply can't wait until the main event (and biggest discounts) kicks off three days later. Customers will be able to save 60 percent on Wonder Woman and take up to 75 percent off popular best-selling Kindle eBooks. If you're more into gaming, you'll find discounts up to 33 percent on Sonic Forces, Civilization VI, NBA 2K 18, and WWE 2K18.

“Amazon Digital Day is an amazing time to shop for deals on digital content,” said Amazon Appstore VP Aaron Rubenson. “The customer response was incredibly positive last year, and we’re excited to help customers find great discounts again this year—whether they just received a new Amazon Fire TV, Fire Tablet, or Fire Kids Edition Tablet over the holidays or are looking to add new content to their current device.”

For those that want to be in the loop when the first deals go live, Amazon encourages you to visit its Digital Day landing page to sign up for notifications. You will be able to access Digital Day deals either from your PC, or via your mobile devices using the Amazon App and the Amazon Appstore app.
