AMD 65u Parts Next Week?
According to The Inquirer, an industry source has indicated that AMD is preparing to launch some new CPU's designed using a smaller 65u process. Should this be true, we can likley expect faster frequencies, less heat, lower voltages, and exceptional overclocking headroom. How these parts will match with Intel's upcoming Conroe architecture remains to be seen. Regardless, it's great to see AMD is up to the challenge and is not handing over the CPU performance crown without a fight.
