AMD Now Gifting Wolfenstein II And Prey With Radeon RX Vega 56/64 Purchases

Prey

AMD is running a new promotion that it hopes will make its Radeon RX Vega 56 and Radeon RX Vega 64 graphics cards more enticing. For a limited time, customers who purchase a qualifying card will receive Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and Prey, a couple of AAA titles from Bethesda. While not specifically mentioned, it appears AMD and Bethesda have teamed up for the holiday season.

The promotion is in effect now and runs through December 31, 2017. It is a nice bonus that adds up to $100 of value, based on regular MSRPs—when not on sale, Wolfenstein II retails for $60 and Prey goes for $40. Both happen to be on sale right now through Steam, for $30 and $20, respectively.

Wolfenstein II

Before this promotion, the same games were part of a Red Pack, but now seem to be offered on a wider assortment of Radeon RX Vega 56/64 cards. To be sure you are buying a card that qualifies, your best bet is to hit the source link, which takes you to the landing page for this promotion, and then click through to your vendor of choice. In North America, participating vendors include Amazon, Best Buy, Fry's, Microcenter, and Newegg.

The offer is available globally. If opting for the higher end Radeon RX Vega 64, good news—the promotion is being offered on both air cooled and liquid cooled models. The trickier part is finding cards in stock. There does not appear to be a wide selection of SKUs, and of the ones that do show up, several models show as being out of stock. Hopefully the situation improves between now and when the deal expires at the end of the year.
