AMD Turns Black Friday Chaos into a Groovy Contest
Black Friday is just days away, and if you're planning to fight through crowds of rapid shoppers, you better be prepared. That means making a list and checking it twice, though not to see who's been naughty or nice. You need a list of where the hottest deals are so you can come up with a game plan to get in, get out, and scurry back home with your new gear.
To help you do that, AMD's Facebook page is currently hosting a deal stream for notebooks, desktops, processors, and tons of other swank hardware featuring AMD technology. The entire stream is generated by regular users who tweeted what they found with the #AMDdeals hashtag.
As an added incentive to get people to post awesome deals, AMD is giving away a ton of swag to randomly selected posters. Beginning Wednesday, Novemberth 24th at 6AM Central Time, all you have to do is submit a deal with the hashtag, and each time you do it counts as one entry (see the official Contest Rules for more info). Prizes run the gamut from notebooks to six-core Phenom II processors.
