Android 4.2.2 Update Fixes Bluetooth Issue, Now Rolling Out to Nexus Family
Google has begun doling out its Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update to Galaxy Nexus owners, according to a few Reddit users who claim to have received the new build. Several people on Google+ have also said they received the OTA (Over The Air) update, which will be the last version of Jelly Bean before Key Lime Pie debuts.
There's no official changelog to reference just yet, though Google previously promised to fix a Bluetooh A2DP audio streaming issue in the "next release" after 4.2.1. Other minor bug fixes are likely included in the incremental update as well, though we won't know any specifics until Google posts the release notes.
The update applies to Galaxy Nexus smartphones along with Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets, which incidentally highlights one of the main benefits of buying a Google brand device. Google device owners are typically first in line to receive updates as they become available.
