Apple's iOS 13 Is Rumored To Kick These iPhone Models To The Curb
Are you rocking an older iPhone model? If so, there is a chance that Apple will cut off support for your handset when it releases iOS 13, which is expected to debut next month. Nothing is set in stone at this moment, or more precisely, this information has not been confirmed. But if the latest rumor is true, iPhone 6 and older generation handsets will be left in the dust.
That is the word from a French-language website that covers Apple-related news. Citing a "developer friend" (Google translation), iPhonesoft.fr says iOS 13 will support every iPhone handset dating back to the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, but not the regular iPhone 6 and earlier versions. That means the following devices will be cut off (if the rumor is true)...

On the tablet side, the iPad Air debuted all the way back in 2012, and the iPad mini 2 in 2013. Consider it a good run if the rumor turns out to be true.
One thing to keep in mind is that even if iOS 13 does not support certain devices, those devices will not magically stop working. They just won't have the latest version from Apple. As it pertains to that, iOS 13 is expected to deliver a dark mode, new iPad gesture commands, a new multi-window feature for apps, and some other tidbits.
Apple is expected to announced iOS 13 at WWDC next month.
