Asus 12.1" Eee PC Seashell 1215T On Sale With AMD Neo CPU

If there's one thing that's a certainty in the consumer electronics universe, it's that Asus is probably working on another Eee PC. The company seems to pop these out at a stunning rate, giving consumers loads of choice when it comes time to buy a netbook. The newest of the bunch is another member of the Seashell lineup, the Eee PC 1215T.

What makes this unit special are the tools inside of it. First off, there's an AMD Neo processor under the plastic, with a 1.7GHz Athlon K125 being the specific model. It's paired with a 320GB hard drive, Windows 7 Home Premium, a 12.1" display (1366x768 resolution), HDMI/VGA video outputs, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Ethernet, a 0.3MP webcam and ATI HD 4250 graphics. It weighs 3.21 pounds.

It's shipping in black, red or silver right now from the likes of Amazon, but it's definitely more expensive than your typical bargain-bin netbook at $435. But if you're looking for an AMD-powered version, this might just be at the top of the class right now.
