ASUS Zen AiO 27 Desktop Boasts 4K Display, GTX 1050 And Qi Wireless Charging Base

Anyone who is the minimalist type wanting as little as possible on and around their workspace -- at home or in the office -- will like what ASUS has cooked up with its new all-in-one desktop PC. The machine is called the Zen AiO 27 and as the name suggests, the machine has a 27-inch screen that supports native 4K resolution with HDR. ASUS uses a NanoEdge PANTONE validated touch panel with 100% sRGB color gamut coverage with high color accuracy and a Delta-E value of less than 3.0.

ASUS also wraps in some other interesting features, like a computer base that supports 7.5W Qi wireless charging; that means users can toss a device supporting Qi onto the base and charge it up with no extra wires or charging platforms on the desk. The computer is attached to an adjustable stand that can tilt, swivel and height adjust for comfort. ASUS configured the machine to give the end-user access to the storage and memory modules to allow for easy upgrades.

The CPU inside the Zen AiO 27 is an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8700T processor paired up with 16GB of RAM and NVIDIA GTX 1050 graphics; a version with Intel HD Graphics 630 is also available. ASUS fits the computer with dual storage drives including a 2TB HDD and a 512GB SSD. Internal audio is Harman Kardon-certified with a 16W quad-speaker system that has a bass-reflex design typically found only in higher-end systems.

Connectivity options include a Thunderbolt 3/USB 3.1 Type-C port, three USB 3.1 Type-A Gen 2 ports, and a single USB 2.0 port. The machine also has both HDMI in and out jacks, RJ-45 port, a combo audio jack, memory card reader and a DC input; ASUS ships the machine with a wireless mouse and keyboard. ASUS is offering the Zen AiO 27 Z272SD-XH751T for $1,999, and it is available now direct from ASUS and on Amazon, Newegg, and at other retailers.
