AT&T Introduces Budget-Friendly Impulse 4G Smartphone

AT&T introduced a new 4G smartphone known as the Impulse 4G that is designed to be a "feature-rich" Android smartphone with a budget-friendly price of $29.99. Key features of the Impulse 4G include a 3.8-inch touchscreen, 800MHz processor, and a 5-megapixel camera with HD video recording. As its name suggests, the Impulse 4G will run on AT&T's 4G HSPA+ network.

The Impulse 4G will run Android 2.2. This is AT&T's first smartphone from Huawei, a Chinese manufacturer that has a reputation for producing low-cost Android smartphones in Asia. The Impulse 4G is expected to be available on September 18.
