AT&T to Carry BlackBerry Z10 Starting March 22 for $200

AT&T is the second major U.S. carrier to confirm plans to carry the new BlackBerry Z10 smartphone. Beginning March 12, AT&T will accept pre-orders for BlackBerry's new flagship device, which will run $200 with a two-year service agreement. General availability kicks off on March 22.

"AT&T customers were the first to experience BlackBerry smartphones and services in the U.S. and we are thrilled to bring the next evolution, the BlackBerry Z10, to the nation’s fastest 4G LTE network," said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president, Devices and Developer Services, AT&T Mobility. "Customers who have grown to love the tried and true BlackBerry experience will continue to enjoy the easy typing and the secure platform they expect with a fresh platform that lets them get more out of their smartphone with easy access to all their messages in BlackBerry Hub."

BlackBerry Z10

The BlackBerry Z10 is the first phone to feature BlackBerry's redesigned operating system (BlackBerry 10), and it's also the fastest and most advanced BlackBerry smartphone to date. It has a 4.2-inch HD display (1280x768 resolution), dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 8MP rear camera with 1080p HD recording, a microSD card slot, and other amenities.

T-Mobile was able to beat AT&T to the punch and is accepting pre-orders for the BlackBerry Z10 starting today, though it runs $250.
