Best Buy Offers Free Halo 5: Guardians Controller With $299 Xbox One Purchase
The silliest thing you could do this holiday season is pay full price for a barebones game console. Okay, maybe it's not the absolute silliest -- going door-to-door singing Halloween songs while dressed up like Santa Claus would rank somewhere up there -- but it's certainly unnecessary with Microsoft and Sony pushing so many promotions. One of the latest is a free Xbox One controller offer at Best Buy.
For a limited time (and we don't know how long), Best Buy is offering a free limited edition Halo 5: Guardians wireless controller for the Xbox One when you purchase from a select batch of Xbox One game console bundles. Sold separately, the sweet looking themed controller would normally run $70 (MSRP).
Don't worry, Best Buy isn't limiting the offer to just its highest priced bundles. Here's a list of ones that qualify:
Every single Xbox One system that qualifies is already marked down, and most of them come with at least a free game. It should also be noted that the Halo 5: Guardians bundle comes with a free Halo 5 controller of its own, so with Best Buy's freebie promotion, you'd be getting two of them, plus a themed console to match (and of course the game itself).
