BFG Phobos Gaming PC Reveals New Core i7 CPUs

We can't imagine that Intel's happy about this, but one certain gaming PC vendor has just revealed two of the company's newest processors. BFG Technologies has just launched its new Phobos gaming rigs, two of which include Core i7 CPUs that we've yet to hear of. The Phobos Advanced ships with the Core i7 950, while the Phobos Elite ships with the Core i7 975.

Both rigs are menacing, tall and potent. Oh, and expensive -- really, really expensive. They both have touchpanels on the front of the chassis which enable one-touch overclocking (among other things), not to mention an iPod/iPhone dock atop the case. As with other high-end BFG machines, this one also comes with in-home concierge service, and the customization options here are nearly limitless. Unfortunately, you'll need at least $5,000 just to get the Advanced model, with the Elite edition starting at an amazing $8,000.
