Boba Fett, Han Solo Shine In Action-Packed Star Wars: Battlefront Gameplay Launch Trailer

With all due respect, if watching the official launch trailer for Star Wars: Battlefront doesn't get you pumped for the game's release next month, you might not have a pulse. Seriously, we think it's even listed as a warning sign for a zombie related disease in WebMD. That also means the pressure is on developer DICE and publisher Electronic Arts to deliver an epic multiplayer experience that lives up to the pre-release hype.

Though the newest Battlefront title will be the third in the series, it's not a sequel to the previous versions, but a reboot. You'll play from either a first-person or third-person perspective (you can switch at any time) as a Rebel Alliance soldier or an Imperial Stormtrooper. You'll also have the opportunity to play as iconic characters like Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and others.

Star Wars: Battlefront

We've seen gameplay footage before, though the official launch trailer that EA just released takes things to a new level. It includes a healthy mix of cinema and actual gameplay in a variety of locations, including a scene in which Han Solo shoots first. No, not THAT scene -- in this one, he's taking aim at Darth Vader.

The battles are intense, the graphics look fantastic, and of course the musical composition immerses you in the Star Wars universe like it's been doing since the late 1970s.

"Prepare to be transported to a galaxy far, far away and fight in epic multiplayer battles and intense Missions on Hoth, Endor, Tatooine and the previously unexplored planet, Sullust. Let’s Play Star Wars," the trailer's accompany text reads.

You'll get your chance starting November 17, 2015, when the game releases to Windows PCs, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
