Borderlands 2 Patch Upgrades Backpack Storage, Squashes Tons of Bugs

If it's been a long time since you fired up Borderlands 2, get ready for a host of changes to the game play experience. That's because Gearbox Software issued a large software update with a bunch of alterations, including several made to Crazy Earl's Eridium Black market. One of the most notable changes is that you'll be able to carry more items on your person.

Gearbox Software added two more backpack storage upgrades at 150 and 200 Eridium, respectively. The same applies to the two additional bank storage upgrades. In addition, the update introduces one additional ammo upgrade for each ammo type at 100 Eridium each.

As Gearbox Software gets ready to increase the level cap to 72 this week, you'll find an increased drop rate of rare loot from enemies at and above level 61. The other change for high level enemies is that the enemy health regen in Ultimate Vaulte Hunter Mode has been increased for enemies at level 61 or above.

The rest of the release notes outlines lots of bug fixes, including an issue that could cause players to be unable to complete the "Can You Hear Me Now" and "Big Guns" challenges.
