Box Gives Android Users 50GB of Free Cloud Storage

How many times growing up did you hear a teacher tell you to get your head out of the clouds and pay attention? She wouldn't have spouted such foolishness if she knew there was 50GB of free storage space sitting in the cloud, just waiting for you to pluck it with your Android device. That's exactly what's up there, courtesy of Box, which is offering Android users oodles of free storage space for a limited time.

Box for Android and Android Tablet lets you store files online and access them from your Android phone or tablet anywhere there's an Internet connection. It's a free app, and if you install it and log in by Friday, March 23, 2012, you'll receive a free 50GB account upgrade.

That's an absolutely killer deal, and quite frankly, we don't know why you're still reading this if you own an Android device. You should be off installing the app. But for those who are sticking around, here's another heads up: not only do you get 50GB of free cloud storage, but Box is also inflating the file size limit from 25MB to 100MB. For free.
