Brady And Gronk Hand Out Beatdowns On Conan O'Brien's Clueless Gamer 'For Honor' Super Bowl Edition

Clueless Gamer Super Bown Edition

Conan O'Brien sucks at video games. That much is evident by watching any episode from his Clueless Gamer series, and it's also what makes the series so hilarious. Choosing which one is the funniest is a matter of personal opinion and they're all pretty great, though we're partial to the latest episode featuring a slew of NFL stars, including New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady alongside his injured tight end teammate Rob Gronwkowski. As you might expect, hilarity ensues when they all get together, along with some special guests.

If you're not familiar with football, Brady is a fierce competitor who hates to lose. Conan O'Brien, on the other hand, is just happy to participate and often spends his Clueless Gamer episodes trying (usually in vain) to figure out what the heck is going on. In this latest one, the game is For Honor, an online action fighting title by Ubisoft that has not yet been released to the public. Like most fighting games, matches consist of three rounds.

At the start of the match between Conan and Brady, the Clueless Gamer runs around the screen like a toddler who just chased a Snickers bar with a can of soda. This presents an opportunity to deliver a line that we hope to hear rushers on the Atlanta Falcons say to their coaches in Super Bowl LI this weekend.

"I'm chasing Tom Brady, who is not engaging me!," Conan shouts.

When Brady does engage, Conan gets the better of him by knocking the quarterback off a bridge to end Round 1. This puts Brady into ultra-competitive mode. From there it's a blood bath with Brady doing what he normally does—win.

More hilarity ensues when special guests start to trickle in, the first of which is Falcons defensive end Dwight Freeney. He's sacked Tom four times in his career, though his team has never beaten the Patriots. Conan orchestrates a dual-apology between the two, Freeney for sacking Brady and Brady for throwing touchdowns, though comically it doesn't go as planned.

Clueless Gamer Super Bowl Trophies

Brady defeats Freeney in combat before Rob Grownkowski enters the scene, to which Conan comments about his size, "What did you have for breakfast, like a Buick?" Not longer after retired Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch (aka Beast Mode) gets in on the action too, and promptly loses to Grownkowski in two rounds of battle. Trophies emerge, including a "Played Too" award that is the equivalent of a participation trophy. It gets handed to Freeney.

If you're a sports fan who is hyped about the Super Bowl this Sunday, this is a much-watch episode. Even if you're not into sports, Conan does a great job keeping the comedy flowing, as he always does.

As for Ubisoft's upcoming game, For Honor releases February 14, 2017, to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
