Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Gunfight Maps Look Killer In Crispy 4K Gameplay Footage

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
Developer Infinity Ward teased several minutes of actual gameplay showcasing its upcoming 2v2 mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in glorious 4K. The new Gunfight footage looks absolutely stunning, as you might expect when cranking up the resolution to 3840x2160, particularly in the outside portion where foliage abounds.

The footage focuses on three maps, those being Pine, King, and Stack. According to the video's description, it was captured on a PlayStation 4 Pro.

"We're excited to share raw gameplay of Gunfight, a new fast-paced, close-quarters, 2v2 multiplayer mode coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare," Infinity Ward says

Have a watch...

"OMG this game is more crispy than bacon on a Saturday morning," one of the comments reads. "Infinity Ward bringing my love for CoD back again. Looking like the glory days," another comments states.

Having viewed it myself, I thought the audio was pretty good as well—you can hear bullets whizzing by and pinging objects. And of course there are no streamers yelling into their microphones, which is a bonus.

The 2v2 mode in Modern Warfare throws two teams of two into close-quarter combat, with each player having one life per round. It also looks like the rounds are limited to 40 seconds each. That makes for some intense, adrenaline-fueled gameplay, where fast reaction times and quick thinking are what win the day.

This is actually the second gameplay reveal. Just last week, Syndicate, CouRageJD, TeePee, and LEGION participated in a Gunplay livestream on Twitch that lasted over an hour. However, the microphone chatter and yelling were distracting, prompting gamers to ask for a gameplay trailer without the background noise. A week later, Infinity Ward answered the call.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare lands on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 25. It's rumored to have a battle royal mode, though Infinity Ward has been mum on the subject.
