Clueless Gamer Conan O’Brien Goes Berserk Playing Doom With Broncos' Von Miller And Panthers' Josh Norman

Conan O'Brien is the type of comedian that people tend to either really like or loathe. As for me, I'm a fan of his infectious personality and find him hilarious, especially when he sits down to play and review video games—or in this case, just get riled up playing Doom with a couple of NFL players headed to the Super Bowl.

Playing the recurring role of Clueless Gamer, Conan sits in a "cheap Marriott conference room" flanked by Josh Norman, a cornerback for the Carolina Panthers, and Von Miller, a linebacker for the Denver Broncos. Before they even get to any gameplay, Conan brings up the fact that he's a New England Patriots fan and how Von Miller and company made his 12-year-old daughter cry with their rough handling of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Laughs ensue.

Conan O'Brien Playing Doom

It's a goofy albeit funny setting, though the real laughs begin when Conan and company play Doom. Conan is notoriously and hilariously bad at video games, yet continues to play them (and often review them). In this instance, he spends much of his time watching the NFL players (including a special guest) fill the screen with blood and guts as he comments on the action.

"Look at him, he has no emotion!," Conan proclaims of Von Miller after being grossed out by a particularly violent scene.

They're playing the Doom reboot on Xbox One. If for no other reason, it's worth watching the video clip to see some gameplay footage of the forthcoming title, which is set to release on May 13, 2016, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

If you're a fan of the Doom franchise, this reboot can't come fast enough—this will be the first full-fledged title since 2004's Doom 3.
