Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR4 SO-DIMM Kit Cranks Speeds To 4000MHz
The PC components company claims that its new Vengeance 32GB (four 8GB modules) SO-DIMM kit is the world's fastest, operating at a brisk 4,000MHz. Like its full-size DIMM counterparts, these SO-DIMM kits are built using Samsung B-die ICs to ensure stability at higher operating speeds. Corsair says that the modules have "super tight" CL19-23-23-45 timings, and they operate at 1.35 volts.
Corsair specifically calls out ASRock's X299E-ITX/ac motherboard as being the perfect recipient for these modules. The tiny dimensions of the motherboard coupled with the use of the SO-DIMM form-factor allows enthusiasts to cram up to an Intel Core i9-7980XE processor with its 18-core/36-thread multi-threaded goodness into a compact enclosure.
Corsair's new Vengeance 32GB SO-DIMM kit is available now for purchase direct from the company, or through its network of authorized retailers and distributors. But we know what you're probably thinking; how much are these modules going to cost me? Purchasing direct from Corsair will set you back $595.
