CyberPowerPC Shows Off Portable Fang Battle Box System, Zeus Mini SFF Series

There are loads of new gaming systems rolling out during CES, including a host of Steam Machines (some of which are more ready for action than others), and CyberPowerPC has some more, including one that will make any gamer smile in spite of him- or herself.

CyberPowerPC’s Fang Battle Box is a mobile--and we’re using that term loosely here--gaming system that features a full-powered system in a box. As in, a suitcase-looking container that you can take around to LAN parties more easily than you would any normal full-featured system. It can accommodate full-size graphics cards and liquid cooling, and it’s the killer rig that you’ve been wanting to bring to a LAN party your whole life.

The company also announced the Zeus Mini SFF series, which are wrapped in a 4.4 x 17.4 x 13-inch chassis and offer Intel Core or AMD Kaveri A-series processors and can fit full-size graphics cards. You can opt for a 240mm liquid cooling system, and they offer three USB 3.0 ports, HDMI 1.4 out, and HD audio with S/PDIF.

There are two base configurations, one an Intel-based system and the other AMD, although both are fully customizable. The Zeus Mini A 100 ($599) sports a dual-core AMD A6-6400K (3.90GHz) APU with an AMD Radeon R9 270 2GB GDDR5 GPU, while the Zeus Mini I 100 ($799) has an Intel Core i3-4330 (3.5GHz) chip with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (2GB) graphics card.

CyberPowerPC also mentioned that a new Fangbook gaming notebook is coming. The Fangbook HX7-400R rocks AMD R9-290X graphics, Intel Core processors, and the Fangbook EVO design. The mobile rig also has 8GB of RAM, a 1TB (7200rpm) HDD, and Killer WiFi and ethernet cards.
