Dell Intros Mini 10v, Inspiron 537 Desktops
Starting with the smallest of the bunch, we've got the Mini 10v. Naturally, it's not all that different than the existing Mini 10, but it's actually a lower-cost version that makes getting a netbook an even more affordable venture. The machine is launching in seven colors and starting at just $299, which gets you a 1.6GHz Atom N270 processor, a 10.1" widescreen display (1024 x 576 resolution), 120GB 5400RPM hard drive, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 802.11g Wi-Fi and a 1.3MP webcam. Not bad for under $300!
The Inspiron 15 is also getting spiced up, now available in Jet Black, Alpine White, Ice Blue, Pacific Blue, Cherry Red and Promise Pink. Moreover, to-be buyers can procure one now starting at just $399, though the base configuration certainly won't be much of a gaming or multimedia powerhouse. Finally, the Inspiron 537 family brings a new look to Dell's aging desktop lineup. They're available in eight different colors and don't take up much room, making them the perfect option for folks who need the expandability and power of a desktop but can't sacrifice their entire guest room to house an XPS tower.
