Did XFX Just Leak Its Upcoming Radeon R9 390X Graphics Card?
Also shown in the pic is that the 390X will come bundled with Dirt Rally and use the same cooler as the 290X Double Dissipation Edition. The cooler uses what XFX dubs "Ghost Thermal 2.0 technology," which describes a floating heatsink design with open airflow between the PCB and the cover. This is so air can quickly move in, cool the necessary heat-generating components, and flow out.
According to XFX, the cooler lowers temps by 7C and runs 13dB quieter than its competitors, or at least that's how it breaks down on the 290X Double Dissipation Edition. If the 390X is a rebadge, we suspect XFX will make the same cooling and noise performance claims when it come out.
