Digital Storm Looks to Shrink Gaming Notebooks With Haswell-Based 13.3-inch VELOCE
Speaking of Digital Storm, the custom PC maker announced a 13.3-inch gaming notebook nearing the VELOCE moniker, which is a good bit smaller than the beastly and powerful 17-inch systems that we so often see.
The Haswell-based VELOCE features an Intel Core i7-4800MQ quad-core processor, full HD 13.3-inch display, NVIDIA GTX 765M (2GB) graphics card, 8GB of DDR3-1600MHz RAM, a DVD/CD 8x multi drive, and an mSATA SSD and 750GB Hybrid (7200 RPM) hard drive.
Ports include SuperSpeed USB 3.0, HDMI 1.4, and VGA out, and there’s also a dedicated network port with Killer Wireless-N 1202 wireless LAN with Bluetooth 4.0. Buyers also get a 3-year limited warranty and lifetime U.S.-based tech support.
The Digital Storm VELOCE gaming notebook will be available on July 17th at a cost starting at $1,535.
