eMachines Mini-e ER1402 Gets AMD CPU, Extra Low Price

eMachines still makes PCs? Oh, yes, they definitely do. It may not be a brand that you're incredibly familiar with, but the company is putting it on thick with the introduction of their newest machine. It's a small form factor PC with lots of great hardware and an even greater price, and this may be the machine to get if you're looking for a new bedroom computer or just a cheap desktop to keep around in the home office.

The Mini-e ER1402 is one of the smaller SFF PCs on the market, weighing 9lbs. and measuring just 7.1" in diameter. It also offers up full HD playback in a unique glossy black diamond chassis, and the specs lists isn't anything to sneeze at. There's built-in 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, an HDMI output (for turning this into a makeshift HTPC), an included wireless keyboard/mouse, and Windows 7 Home Premium.

There's also an AMD Athlon II NEO processor, 2GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 9200 graphics chip, four USB 2.0 ports, a muti-card reader, 160GB hard drive and an optional mounting kit. All that's ready to be ordered now for just $299.99, which isn't bad at all for a compact machine that's well suited for Hulu playback or just handling basic Office duties.
