Well, 3DCenter has gotten ahold of an official pricing chart from AMD that shows how pricing has been shifted so that the first- and second-generation Ryzen Threadripper SKUs can live in harmony.

The Threadripper 2920X, 2950X, 2970WX and 2990WX are priced at $649, $899, $1,299 and $1,799 respectively. That allows the three-processor first-generation lineup to see their MSRPs fall to $299, $399 and $799 respectively for the Threadripper 1900X, 1920X and 1950X.

When the 8-core Threadripper 1900X originally debuted, it was priced at $549. Likewise, the 12-core Threadripper 1920X and 16-core 1950X hit the market with MSRPs of $799 and $999 respectively. Retailers like Amazon have already latched on to these new, lower prices and it is selling the Threadripper 1950X for even lower at $720. Newegg has priced the Threadripper 1900X slightly higher than the MSRP at $319.99.

Unfortunately for those looking for the 12-core Threadripper 1920X, it appears that retailers don't have enough of this chip in stock, so we're seeing higher-than-expected prices.
