Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 Wipes Out Building, Adds Doctor Strange And Prowler To Battle Pass
Epic Games' money printing mega-hit, Fortnite, released a massive update recently, the most notable change being the removal of building in the primary game mode. That change is jarring for anyone who has played the game since the very beginning, such as before the Battle Royale feature was added. The original concept of Fortnite was actually what eventually became the "Save the World" feature. Effectively a tower defense against waves of "husks" (the term used for the AI enemies in the game) where you would build your fort and defenses, then survive the night of enemies advancing upon your position. Of course, Epic later adding the Battle Royale mode for to the version of

Titled "Resistance" these are not the only changes to the popular game, the change list is quite long and adds in a huge number of things. Such as.
- An Overshield (for defense instead of building)
- Faster Sprinting
- Mantling
- Shoulder Bashing
- Bars for Funding AI-Assisted functions like Turrets
- A new Battle Bus, complete with Cow Pusher
- New Combat SMG
- Striker Burst Rifle
- A slew of unvaulted weapons
- Repair torch for new vehicles
- Point of Interest Control Gameplay
- and eventually 'Prowler' will be available through the battle pass.

This is quite possibly one of the biggest updates the game has ever had, and it is definitely showing its popularity—while attempting to load in we hit a more than 40 minute wait time! Still, this is not a bad thing after all, as Epic has pledged along with Microsoft that all proceeds from March 20 through April 3 are going to go towards relief efforts in Ukraine.
