Here’s A List Of Hundreds Of Forza Horizon 4 Cars You’ll Be Able To Drive
There's nothing like a racing sim game that allows you to slip into the seats of hundreds of different exotic vehicles, but finding a title like this that's also open-world, and offers a compelling single-player and multi-player campaign is a bit harder. Fortunately, there have been some shining examples released even in recent years, including Test Drive Unlimited, The Crew, and of course, Forza Horizon.
Since the first title was released in 2012, Forza Horizon has become hugely successful, something evidenced by the fact that a fourth title is coming out in a couple of months, making for a total of 4 Forza Horizons releases in just six years. That kind of expedited development can sometimes instill a lack of confidence in the quality of the final product, but so far, developer Playground Games has done a great job keeping the series fun, high quality and exciting, so much so that the company was acquired by Microsoft during E3 a couple of weeks ago.
FH4, set to launch in October, is going to take place in the UK, and appropriately has a UK-based vehicle on its cover: the McLaren Senna edition. Thanks to a new leak, we learn that this car, along with the Land Rover Defender 90 (also on the cover), are going to be one of a few hundred cars available to drive in the game. Given the history of the Forza series in general, "hundreds" of cars to drive isn't a surprise, but how we got the list so far in advance is.
Over at reddit, user daten-shi preordered the game, and noticed that it downloaded in a preloaded state - despite the fact that the final code is still a month or two off. Because this happened, a folder found on the system showed the entire car list in an abbreviated manner, eg: ALF_8C_08 instead of Alfa Romeo 8C (likely the Competizione, and not the original 8C from the 1930s). Since those brief snippets are going to be hard to follow in a list of hundreds, another reddit user converted the entire list into plain English.
If you've played Forza Horizon 3, the car list for the next iteration is not going to be too surprising, as a good number of them were featured in that release. That's to be expected, of course, in a game that uses only real-world vehicles. You'll be able to drive the same Hoonigan vehicles as in FH3, a slew of Super Sports (from Veyron to Monte Carlo), to pretty much any recent exotic you can think of.
Here's a curated selection of some of Forza Horizon 4's most exciting automakers:

Of all the autos featured in this leak, a good chunk comes straight from Forza Motorsport 7, so if you've been enjoying a car like the BMW Z4 M Coupe or Bugatti Chiron in that title, you can hopefully expect to see them in FH4. Some absolutely brand-new autos are featured as well, including a 1965 MG MGB GT, 2010 Morgan Aero Supersports, and 1998 TVR Cerbera Speed 12.
If there's a potential downside to this massive list of cars, it's that the Forza series has become infamous for locking a good chunk of it behind DLC. Forza Horizon 4 looks to be no different, with three different versions of the game available for preorder, with the higher-tier offerings including extra cars from the get-go (the Ultimate also pre-equips you with forthcoming DLC content packs).
That all aside, if you are geared up to play Forza Horizon 4, you can preorder the game now, or just sit it out until the game officially launches on October 2.
