Gateway's ID and NV Series Notebook Lines Boast a New Wardrobe

Call it vanity or simply getting with the times, either way Gateway scores some major style points for revamping its ID Series and NV Series of laptops. Both strut their stuff with attractive new chassis designs on the outside, and come powered by the latest in mobile technology in and around the hood.

First up is the 14-inch ID47 series priced at $699.99. The chassis used is one you'd normally find on a 13.3-inch notebook, but edge-to-edge glass allowed Gateway to squeeze in a bigger display. Other specs include:

Gateway's overhauled NV series is a larger notebook line with a 15.6-inch display and nearly the same specs as the ID47, but with AMD hardware inside and a few upgrades along the way. The full spec sheet looks like this:
