Google Is Sending Out $10 Store Credits To Lucky Customers

Google is looking for ways to entice shoppers to come to its online store and purchase plenty of loot on Black Friday. In keeping with this efforts, a message has reportedly gone out to some from the official Google Pixelbook address, and buried inside that email some users are finding promotional store credits. The email reads in part, "Your Black Friday deals are here."

Inside, the email highlights some of the Black Friday deals that are being offered, including $350 off the Pixel Slate. That deal sees the Slate starting at $449 for the Core M3 version with 8GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. That deal also includes a free Pixelbook Pen and a Pixel Slate Keyboard or Brydge G-Type Keyboard.

Google is also offering a discount on the Slate with the Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage for $649 or the Core i7, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage for $1,249. The email also brags on the Pixel 3a for $299 and the Pixel 3a XL for $379. The hidden $10 store credit promo is at the bottom of those messages and is valid on anything in the store through December 31, 2019.

The $10 credit isn't exactly Earth-shattering, but if you are buying something to go with your new Google gadget, it's nice. One caveat is that the $10 can't be applied to Black Friday offerings. It's rare for Google to send out discounts like this that aren't tied to products you purchased recently. We've seen some nice Black Friday discounts so far, one of the biggest was Acer's deal that discounted the Predator 700 laptop by $2,000.
