Google+ To Be Tailored For Businesses Later This Year

Google+ (or Google Plus, if you're saying it aloud) has taken the social networking world by storm. It's certainly not the next Facebook (it's actually quite different), but there's no doubt that people are anxious to join in and see what the hubbub is all about. One that that social networking has really revolutionized is the way we advertise and spread the word about our businesses. While Facebook may largely be viewed as a consumer offering, tons of small and large businesses use it to interact directly with customers, advertise specials, and generally spread the word about what they're doing.

And of course, those very businesses have been anxious to do the same with Google+. But if you've tried to sign your business up with the service, you'll soon see that it's not exactly tailor-made for businesses. But that's going to change. Google has come forward with a promise that a business-oriented version is in the works, and will be providing a ton of flexibility and functionality when it hits. The site will be testing with a few select companies later in the year, with an official rollout to the public by the end of 2011 as well. So, if you've got a business itching to get on Google+, we guess patience is good to have.
