Rockstar Rumored To Make GTA 6 Or Bully 2 E3 2019 Announcement

Rockstar is on a roll and doing extremely well thanks to the smash hit Red Dead Redemption 2 that has moved 23 million copies as of February 2019. That game is tipped to be in the works for the PC, and some are expecting at least one big announcement at E3 2019 this summer from the game developer. A new rumor is making the rounds that Rockstar will have something that will blindside fans to announce at E3 2019.

The rumor started on Reddit with a user named Thirdeyereddit who claimed to be a Take-Two employee. Take-Two is the parent company of Rockstar Games. According to the Reddit user who claims to be "lower on the food chain," Take-Two was working on a landing page for something unannounced. The user made a comment that said, "Lets just say E3 2019 will completely blindside you with one of Rockstars announcements."

With that rumor out there the mill is fired up and speculation is that either GTA 6 or Bully 2 will be the big announcements. Rumors about GTA 6 have been flying for a long time, with the last big rumor claiming the game would launch in 2022. Rockstar needs to put massive work (and resources) into GTA 6 after the smash hit that GTA 5 has been.

There is a chance that neither GTA 6 nor Bully 2 are what Rockstar has up its sleeves. We could be looking at an entirely new IP from the developers or a major new DLC for Red Dead Redemption 2. E3 2019 is shaping up to be an interesting show, with rumors suggesting that Microsoft will debut the Anaconda and Lockhart consoles at E3. Rumors have also suggested that Nintendo might use E3 2019 to unveil a pair of more advanced Switch models.
