Hands On With Samsung’s Brand New Galaxy Tab and Note Pro Tablets

At Samsung’s Press Event last night, we had the chance to get up close and personal with the just-announced Galaxy Note Pro and trio of new Galaxy Tab Pro devices. In our brief time with Samsung Pro series products, it seemed obvious that the company spent significant resources refining their designs, as the fit and finish was top notch. There are also a few new software features on the tablets, as you'll in the video below.

One of the first things you’re sure to notice is the new Magazine UX home screens, but there’s also additional functionality with the S Pen, similar to what's available on the Galaxy Note 3.

The Galaxy Note Pro features a 12.2-inch widescreen display with a resolution of 2560x1600. Powering the Note Pro is a Samsung Exynos 5 Octa (1.9GHz) processor (or a quad-core Snapdragon 800 [2.3GHz] in the LTE equipped version). Other key specs include Android 4.4 KitKat, 3GB of RAM, up to 64GB of internal storage, and 8MP (with autofocus and LED flash) rear and 2MP front cameras.
