HP Outs Refreshed Line Of Premium EliteBook And Envy Laptops, Convertibles, Desktops

HP has rolled out a newly refreshed line up of notebook computers, convertible machines, all-in-ones, displays, and other devices. There is a wide mixture of machines aimed at consumers and business users. One of the business-focused machines is the HP Elite 1000 series, HP says these machines are among the world's most secure and manageable PCs. The series features the HP Endpoint Security Controller, HP Sure Start Gen4, and HP Sure Run.

One of the machines in that series is the EliteBook x360 1030 G3, which HP says it is the first device to feature HP Sure Recover with Embedded Reimaging. That option allows the software system image to be stored in embedded memory so that data recovery can happen even if the hard drive has been wiped and no network connection is available. This machine is very lightweight at 2.76 pounds and 15.8mm thick. It has up to 17 hours of battery life, Cat9 LTE, and the world's first active pen with proximity alert for business PCs. That feature notifies the user if they leave the pen behind. The machine can also be fitted with an outdoor viewable display.

Another machine in the Elite 1000 line is the Elite x2 1013 G3 with a 13-inch screen packed into a 12-inch chassis. HP says it is the world's smallest business detachable tablet with an integrated privacy screen. HP offers it with Intel Quad Core vPro processors and up to integrated Cat9 LTE. The HP EliteBook 1050 G1 is the first ultra-slim business notebook with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics and optional hexacore processors. HP offers up to 4TB of SSD storage for the machine and an optional HP Privacy Camera to protect the webcam. Power comes from a battery good for up to 16 hours of life per charge.

For the non-mobile pros, HP has the EliteOne 1000 AiO G2 hailed as the first business class 34-inch curved AIO with discrete graphics. The device is designed specifically for collaboration with a pop-up FHD webcam, integrated collaboration keys, and audio featuring noise cancellation. Sometimes when working on the road pros need more screen space so HP has rolled out a portable USB-C display called the EliteDisplay S14. This is the first 14-inch USB Type-C display in the world and gets graphics and power from the single USB port and folds down for easy carry.
