HP Updates All-In-One Workstation Line With 27-inch HP Z1 G2
HP has updated last year’s HP Z1 all-in-one workstation, which we reviewed several months ago, with a newer version that offers Windows 8 (in touch and non-touch flavors) and comes equipped with Intel Thunderbolt 2 ports.
Other features include Intel Core or Xeon processors, integrated Intel HD Graphics or NVIDIA Mobile Quadro GPUs, up to 32GB of DDR3-1866MHz RAM, RAID storage options, and dual front-facing speakers with DTS Studio Sound Audio. HP says that you can upgrade most of the parts, and the chassis is designed to make it easy for the average joe to swap out components with no tools.
The HP Z1 G2 is coming in late January and starts at $1,999.
