HTC 10 Android Marshmallow Flagship Bares Chiseled Physique In Leaked Promo Video
The promo video takes some cues from 2001: A Space Odyssey before showing the HTC 10 being carved from a solid block of aluminum. The finished product is handsome, chiseled device with polished, chamfered edges and a slight camera bump on the rear. The design language is still unmistakably HTC, with perhaps a bit of iPhone 5s thrown in for good measure (when viewed from the front).
The promo video also confirms that the HTC 10 will be available in silver/natural, slate and gold finishes.
When it comes to specs, the HTC 10 is rumored to include a Snapdragon 820 SoC with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM (no surprises there), a 5.15-inch QHD (2560x1440) display, a 12MP Ultra Pixel rear camera with image stabilization, 5MP selfie camera, 3000mAh non-removable battery and a USB-C port (as seen in the video). The HTC 10 of courses runs Android Marshmallow with the Sense 7.0 UI layered on top.
Thanks to a tweet late last month from HTC, we know that its new flagship will officially debut tomorrow, April 12th, at 8am EST. The event will be streamed via HTC.com, so you’ll be able to get a firsthand look at what the new HTC 10 has to offer compared to its highly competitive rivals.
