Huawei P30 Series Powerhouse Phone Images And Specs Fully Leaked

Huawei is on the verge of releasing the follow-ups to its P20 and P20 Pro. Thanks to some careful sleuthing, we not only have images of the next-generation P30 and P30 Pro, but also a full rundown of what kind of hardware specs these devices will be carrying.

The information on the new smartphones comes courtesy of WinFuture, which explains that the base P30 will feature a 6.1-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 2340x1080. Nestled within the “waterdrop notch” above the display will be a 32MP selfie camera. Out back, Huawei is throwing in a trio of cameras: a 40MP main sensor, 16MP wide-angle sensor, and an 8MP sensor. Thankfully, it’s confirmed that the P30 will retain a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom – something that is becoming more of a rarity these days.

The P30 Pro is said to feature a larger 6.47-inch display with the same resolution as its lesser sibling. It will also have three cameras on the back, but it will incorporate a 10x hybrid zoom feature along with a time-of-flight depth sensor (as seen on the LG G8 ThinQ).

On the performance front, expect to see Huawei’s own Kirin 980 SoC, which will feature 6GB of RAM paired with 128GB of internal storage on the P30. The P30 Pro, on the other hand, will bump the RAM to 8GB, while offering 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage options. Both smartphones support dual-SIM functionality along with Huawei’s proprietary NanoMemory cards.

Finally, with respect to power, the P30 is said to include a 3650 mAh battery, while the P30 Pro bumps that spec to 4200 mAh. However, the publication is unsure as to whether traditional wireless charging or reverse wireless charging will be supported at this time. What is known, however, is that both will support Huawei SuperCharge via the USB-C port.

At this point, we don’t have any word on a launch for the Huawei P30 or P30 Pro, but it’s rumored that the family will start from 800 euros, or about $907.
