iBuyPower to Start Shipping Systems to a Best Buy Near You

Boutique system builder iBuyPower and mega electronics chain Best Buy have inked to a deal to become BFFs and give the former more mainstream exposure and the latter a bit of street cred. Or in other words, Best Buy is now carrying custom built high-performance gaming systems from iBuyPower, including the immediate availability of no less than 23 systems.

"Partnering with Best Buy has been a longtime goal and marks a significant milestone in our company’s history," said Darren Su, Vice President of iBuyPower. “This partnership aligns iBuyPower with Best Buy, the premiere consumer electronics retailer in North America."

You'll find iBuyPower systems ranging in price from $500 to $1,430. As it currently stands, iBuyPower offers more gaming rigs at Best Buy than any other manufacturer, including six configurations based on the company's Chimera 4 line, all of which feature a fiery case design.

All 23 system configurations can be found online at BestBuy.com. The most expensive is the Gamer Supreme ($1,430), which includes an Intel Core i7 2600K processor, 16GB of DDR3 memory, 1TB hard drive (7200 RPM), GeForce GTX 570 graphics card, liquid cooling, 12-in-1 media card reader, DVD burner, GbE LAN, a pair of USB 3.0 ports, half a dozen USB 3.0 ports, and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, all wrapped in a fiery case.
