It's Not The Size That Counts...

VIA has left room for later models as the A1000's network controller is limited to 10/100 Mb/sec and of course a faster CPU would be another possible upgrade for future models.  VIA claims the entire A1000 uses 15 watts when idle and up to 20 watts when it's under maximum load, and that's quite impressive.  If you're looking for something relatively small, and you plan on doing very light-weight computing, then this could certainly be worth looking at.
